Registration is now open for ETHE Journal 20th Anniversary Workshop on Scholarly Publications’ Challenges in the Generative Artificial Intelligence Era at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Barcelona, next Friday October 25th. The 20th-anniversary event is an opportunity to look behind and congratulate ETHE on its outstanding achievements and to look forward to the significant challenges that the journal, particularly, and the scholarly publishing world will face.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most relevant challenges today for scholarly publications. There are so many open questions related, for instance, to ethics, authorship, legality, editing and review process, etc. We’d like to discuss and share ideas and proposals to assess and analyse the significant challenges facing scholarly publishing, particularly those related to the emergence of Artificial Intelligence.

The International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education (ETHE) aims to facilitate the dissemination of critical scholarly works and the exchange of information from various cultural perspectives for researchers, professionals, and practitioners in higher education’s technology-enhanced and digital learning fields.
