Edul@b participation in the ICERI 2016 conference

From November 14th to 16th took place the 9th annual International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation (ICERI 2016) in Seville, Spain, under the slogan Transforming Education, transforming lives.

This year the main objective was to bring together more than 700 experts to present their projects and share their knowledge on teaching and learning methodologies and educational innovations.

The Edul@b researcher Marcelo Maina presented the paper co-authored with Dr. Lourdes Guàrdia “Overcome the challenges of MOOC implementation in FIVE steps: EMMA 5D MOOC Framework”, aiming at informing stakeholders about the different aspects of MOOC creation and delivery.

By identifying five steps for MOOC implementation (Decide; Design; Develop; Deliver; and Document), the framework proposes a set of questions and illustrative examples organised according to three complementary perspectives: institutional, pedagogical and technical.
