Marc Romero

PhD in Education at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (2008). Master in Information Society and Desing of virtual learning environments (URV).
Professor at the Studies of Psychology and Sciences of the Education at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), ICT competences’ course coordinator. He also is a member of the Edul@b research group within the eLearn Center (UOC), and the Collaborative Learning in Virtual Environtments Network (RACEV, in spanish), coordinated by Montse Guitert.
He has been also associate professor (2000-2007) of the Educational Science and Psychology faculty at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, were he taught the “New Technologies applied to Education” course in the teachers training program. He was teacher in several postgraduate workshops and courses.
His research focuses on the Educational Technology and E-learning and more specifically on the students’ ICT skills and the collaborative work in virtual environments. He has participated in conferences and workshops in his area of expertise.
He was previously a member of the FOCONNET research group (URV).
