We are delighted to invite you to the first event of the ETHE Journal Webinar Series, a new initiative of the International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education (ETHE) designed to bring together leading scholars whose work has significantly contributed to the journal and to the advancement of research in educational technology and higher education.

Through this series, ETHE will highlight outstanding authors whose articles have had a strong scholarly impact within the journal and the field. We are therefore especially pleased to feature Dr. Helen Crompton, one of the most cited authors published in ETHE, whose research has made an important contribution to the international conversation on digital innovation in education.

For this inaugural webinar, Dr. Crompton will present “AI and Higher Education: A Scholar’s Journey into the Future of Learning”, which will take place online on Wednesday, 15 April at 15:00 (CET), 9:00 (ET), 10:00 (CLT), 18:30 (IST), 21:00 (HKT).

In this session, we will explore the evolving intersection between artificial intelligence and higher education, drawing on Dr. Crompton’s extensive research and experience as Executive Director of the Research Institute for Digital Innovation in Learning at Old Dominion University (United States).

This webinar offers a unique opportunity to engage with the forward-looking perspectives of one of the field’s most influential researchers and to reflect on how AI-driven innovation is reshaping teaching practices, learning experiences, and the future of higher education.
