Last week, on the 26th and 27th of January, Lourdes Guàrdia, Marcelo Maina, Montse Guitert and Teresa Romeu, Edul@b members, attended in Athens the kick-off meeting of H2020 project called CRISS (Demonstration of a scalable and cost effective cloud-based digital learning infrastructure through the Certification of digital competences in primary and secondary schools).
After reviewing all Work Packages and decide the organisational issues during the first day meeting, the second day was addressed to establish the fundamentals of the pedagogical and methodological framework, and discuss about the pilots where the assessment and certification solution will be tested.
In this sense, CRISS core solution is composed by a set of services and learning experiences in the context of digital competences and digital curriculum portfolio. The proposed solution is divided into two main components “Core Solution” where the main technological ICT solution and services offered to the end-user are aggregated, and the “Analytic Solution” that is a support component to offer real-time assessment based on cutting edge technologies (Big Data and Data Analytics).
Next meeting will be in Barcelona, the 16th and 17th of March, and will be at UOC and hosted by Edul@b.
