EMMA Project Meeting in Madrid
From the 15th to 17th of December, Professor Marcelo Maina, Edul@b member, and Jessica Chao, as a research assistant, attended an intensive exploitation workshop in Madrid for project EMMA (www.europeanmoocs.eu). EMMA (European Multiple MOOC Aggregator) is a 30 month pilot initiative that aims to showcase excellence in innovative teaching and learning methodologies and approaches through the large-scale piloting of MOOCs on different subjects. EMMA provides a system for the delivery of free, open, online courses in multiple languages from different European universities to help preserve Europe’s rich cultural, educational and linguistic heritage and to promote real cross-cultural and multilingual learning. The UOC is responsible for the 2nd wave of pilot MOOCs available on the EMMA platform which will be open for registration the last week of February 2015.
