From 18 to 22 of April, the Open University of Catalonia is organising the UOC Research Week 2016: Imagine the University, a week full of activities related to the e-learning field. The main focus of this year is the question of how has to be the university of the XXI century, and discuss which strategies can incorporate the universities to face the challenges of the post digital education and the digital students of the current era.
The Edul@b group will also be present at the Research Week, carrying out different activities throughout this week. In this sense, Albert Sangrà will participate in the UOC Research Showcase (April 18th, 11: 30-14: 00) making the presentation of the publication “Emerging Learning Ecologies as a new challenge and essence for e-learning”. The case of e-doctoral researchers”.
In addition, the PhD students of the group Jordi Serarols and Juan Pedro Cerro will be participating in the PhD Students Workshop (April 18th, 16:00-18:00), talking about their PhD work: “The implementation of ICT in secondary schools in Catalonia: ideas for organization and management based on case studies” by Jordi Serarols and “Customized collaborative learning: innovative web 2.0 environments and strategies to adapt the learning process to meet student’s individual learning needs” by Juan Pedro Cerro.
