Internacional Seminar “Evidence-based research methodological approaches and practical outcomes”

The Edul@b research group and the Unesco Chair of Education and Technology for Social Change of the Open University of Catalonia, on the occasion of the International Seminar “Evidence-based research: methodological approaches and practical outcomes”, is pleased to invite you to the open session with the participation of international experts: “Will the future of Higher Education be evidence-based?”

This open session includes a lecture by Professor Paul Prinsloo (University of South Africa, UNISA), which will be followed by a Round Table, with the participation of the following experts:

  • Richard Garret, The Observatory of Borderless Higher Education, UK / USA
  • Frans Kaizer, Centre of Higher Education Policy & Studies, CHEPS, HOL
  • Francesca Pozzi, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, CNR-ITD, ITA

The session will take place on Wednesday, November 22, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The place, in Barcelona, at Palau Macaya, Passeig de Sant Joan, 108.

This event is part of the line of work begun the previous two years to determine the social and economic impact of online education. The working languages of the session will be English and Spanish. There will be simultaneous translation service.
