Santi Caballé

Professor Santi Caballé is a full professor of Learning Engineering at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), where he teaches in the Faculty of Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunications. He holds a PhD, a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the UOC and has been active in research and teaching since 2004. His academic work focuses on Learning Engineering, e-learning, Software Engineering and Distributed Computing, with a strong emphasis on the intensive use of ICT in education to support meaningful and adaptive learning experiences.

He has carried out research stays at leading institutions in the United States, Japan, Australia and Brazil, and has contributed to a wide range of national and European research and innovation projects. He has also played a key role in organizing numerous international research conferences, especially those focused on the intersection of technology and education, and is regularly invited as a keynote speaker at international events.

His academic work includes a large number of peer-reviewed publications in renowned journals, conferences, and edited volumes, and has been widely cited in the academic community. He is also a peer reviewer for several scientific journals and conferences, and participates in academic committees and editorial boards in the field of educational technology.
